- A trip to Port Appin and Lismore
- A day exploring Oban and Lorn, via Dalmally and Loch Awe – and even Mull on a short regular ferry crossing from Oban.
- A trip via the Corran Ferry near Ballachulish, to the Ardnamurchan peninsula
- A day exploring the Trossachs and Sir Walter Scott country
- A trip south to the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond – perhaps a boat trip on the Loch
- Travel east via Crianlarich to Killin and beautiful Loch Tay – or south to Loch Earn
The opportunities are endless for some of the finest touring and sightseeing in Scotland. And why not leave the car behind for a day – and enjoy a breathaking scenic railway journey on the West Highland Line. The local stretch form Bridge of Orchy to Spean Bridge across Rannoch Moor and Loch Treig is particularly inspirational.
